Apparently, Neil Smith is out as GM of the Isles. This is a stunning development. Nothing is on the Isles site, but Newsday, TSN.cn and others are reporting it.
I will have more on this as news becomes available.

This reeks of Mad Mike being to hands on and getting Neil fired or his involvement causing Neil to quit.

I am truly sorry for your pain even as a Ranger fan. I've had Slats destroying my team for a while now, and this past season bought him more time.
